BolleBillen Bamboo Terry Boeners Mix Recipe

Now that the BolleBillen Bamboo Terry Boeners are here, I'd like to show you my wipe mix recipe.

We've been using reusable wipes since birth and we're big fans. We also use reusable ones when we're on the go. You can use a wipe spray, or use them dry, or pre-wet them.

I usually use the recipe below, and I vary the ingredients a little occasionally.

My recipe is for about 25 to 30 wipes, and I use 1 to 2 wipes per change.

Here's what you'll need:

A small pitcher or mug and a tea strainer

Hot water

Dried Chamomile

Lavender (fresh, dried, or oil)

Dried Calendula

Coconut oil

Wash gel

First, I make a strong cup of tea (the biggest cup you can find) with dried chamomile, calendula, and lavender. Sometimes I use lavender from the garden, or dried lavender when we've pruned at the end of the year, or lavender oil drops when I'm out of fresh lavender. I let the tea steep well.
I like to use wash gel for this recipe that I don't use for the bath, something I received as a gift, for example. You can use any wash gel you like. I use two pumps of it.
Then I add two teaspoons of coconut oil, stirring well until it's all dissolved.

Let it cool down a bit and then you can pour it over the wipes in the container. Close the container and it's ready to use! Be careful not to use them if they are too hot.

I find they stay fresh enough to use for three days, but you should smell them yourself to see if you still like the scent. Not all containers are equally airtight. When a container is empty, I put it in the dishwasher and then use container number 2, because nobody likes to run out of wipes.

I'd love to hear your own recipes for wipe mix!
